Booking & Cancellation Policies:

• Bookings will ONLY be confirmed once the quoted and stipulated pre-payment amount has been received.
• Bookings will automatically be cancelled/expire if the pre-payment was not received within the stipulated due date, prior to your arrival.
• Balance of the accommodation is payable on arrival at Summerset Place.
• Payments can be made via EFT, direct cash deposit, Visa or Mastercards.
• Summerset Place does not accept American Express or Diners Club cards.
• Minimum stay over weekends and school holidays is 1 night.
• Summerset Place reserves the right to decrease or increase the deposit percentage needed, as necessary.
• Summerset Place reserves the right to shorten or extend the period in which to pay the required deposit.
• Summerset Place reserves the right to request 100% deposit payment upon booking should it be so needed.
• No pets allowed.
• NO SMOKING of any substance or smoking type and device inside any building, on patios, in front of rooms and buildings at Summerset Place.  Please use designated smoking areas.
• NO own alcohol. Licenced bar (in accordance with the South African liquor act it is not permitted to bring your own alcohol onto the premises).
• Trading hours for bar is to be confirmed with Summerset Place.
• Right of admission reserved.

Children and extra guest policy:  – CHILDREN OF ALL AGES WELCOME AT SUMMERSET PLACE

• FREE – Infants under 2 years
• R230.00 per child, per night for children over 2 years and younger than 11 years.
• R330.00  per person, per night for guests 11 years and older

Cancellation or postponement policy:

• More than 15 days prior to arrival – full refund. You may change the dates of the booking free of charge.
• 14 days or less prior to arrival – no refund and the booking dates may not be changes.
• 14 days or less prior to arrival – no changes to be made to the original reservation.
• No Shows & pre-mature departure because of personal reasons or reasons due to events occurring beyond our control will result in 100% of your total accommodation price being charged.
• Rates: (Accommodation is prices per room per night – NOT per person)
• Rates are subject to change without prior notice & to be confirmed before making a booking.
• Accommodation rates are inclusive of bed & breakfast ONLY.
• Accommodation rates is quoted per room per night – NOT person.

Group booking terms & conditions:

1. 6 or more guests in a reservation is considered a GROUP
2. Group bookings will be quoted with dinner COMPULSORY.
3. The date of birth for each child is required
4. Summerset Place do NOT offer payment plans (down payments).
5. An amount of 50% of total booking amount is required upfront within stipulated due date, to secure the booking
6. Balance payable upon arrival at Summerset Place
7. All 💵💳 payments for accommodation, extras used during your stay must be made with ONLY 1️⃣ payment
8. NO 🚫separate account for each person within the group.
